Kara’s artwork is described as joyful. Her use of vibrant pallets, expressive brush strokes and a fanciful style has been inspired from her life as an expatriate for 13 years. She considers it a privilege to bring joy, create a smile, and celebrate the simple things in life with her artwork.  She is passionate about supporting her favorite charities through her art, including the Helping Hand Home, Mainspring School, the National Kidney Foundation, the Kamukamu Learning Foundation, supporting children in Uganda, and JDRF to fight type 1 diabetes.
