Pato Gomez is a Mexican-born, self-taught artist and fashion designer. Pato started painting in 2019 as a sophomore at Gonzaga University, where he studied Marketing. Pato started painting when he co-founded the fashion brand What Excites You in 2019. Pato uses his paintings and painting style to create designs for the brand. Pato’s brand, W.E.Y, has been worn by NBA players and Musicians on stage at ACL Fest. As an artist, Pato has exhibited art in galleries in New York, Los Angeles, Austin and Spokane, and has been commissioned by Facebook. Pato is currently studying Fashion Design and working in Austin.
